Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.misc -> timestamp on db2-link
Hi all,
I'm afraid I need a little help ...
I'm writing an ASP application that connects to a DB2 Database over an
Oracle link using Microsofts ODBC driver for oracle.
Works fine, but i need to insert a current timestamp in the db2 at each
write-action.
Ora's sysdate gives this error : special functions not available in this
context, and somehow it seems impossible to tell db2 to use its own
function 'current timestamp'.
Anyone can help me ?
Thanks ! Received on Mon Jan 11 1999 - 15:35:11 CST
