Stefan,
it's an option (separate licence, aka $$$). Believe it's not even on all
flavours,
but Enterprise Edition (EE) only.
Start the installer, and see if you can install the Distributed Option.
If not there, you have the wrong flavour (i.e. PO7, or Group Server)
