Net8 Easy Config question

Greetings:

We're getting strange fatal errors when installing Oracle 8 client on Win/95 and Win/98 workstations...When running Net8 Easy Config, setting up a new connection to the ORCL database with our server's IP address, right at the time we "TEST" the connection, we get a Java fault error. This has worked perfectly on all of our other workstations except these two! Any ideas?

Also, if anyone knows where on the Oracle site one goes to find patches, we'd greatly appreciate knowing that little secret!
