Personal Oracle Server is the database engine for the Server. Personal Oracle
client or SQL*net is the networking layer to enable SQL connections to the
client or the application in Oracle's native language. If you want to run
Personal Oracle on the one machine you need to install the Oracle Database,
SQL*Net and your transport layer of choice (TCP/IP) etc and then use an internal
connect (i.e. 2:)
