There are tables assoicate with sys/system/internal that determine and detail everything about a particular database instance. Generally it is considered a security flaw for anyone to lookup information within the database. Hence the existance of a sys user who can.

Generally, the way one gets these names is talk to the DBA in charge of the system or the owner of the database. They may or may not want you to have access.
