Hi,
I think the best way would be to attend the recommended courses and then get some
practical experience in the work place. If you're too poor to attend the courses (Like me),
then I would recommend the Oracle Press Books from Osborne. The book titled
'Oracle8 The complete reference' will definitely get you through the first exam (SQL and PL/SQL).
Oracle Press also has Backup and Recovery, Performance Tuning, Architecture, PL/SQL Programming.... All good books in my opinion. I am going to attempt the exams based on these books, Oracle manuals, and work experience. I'll let you know.......
