JDBC-how do I find the port number

I am trying to connect up to Oracle Server (resides on Unix) and I am using JDBC Thin on an NT. My problem is that I keep getting a connection refused, which is probably a result of me having an incorrect port specified in the connect string. Is there a way that I can determine what port Oracle is on??

Thanks in advance.
Kevin
