VB Oracle Control and Logging In

Greetings one and all,

I am currently working on a VB6 application that 1) prints a report and 2) updates an Oracle 8 field with the current system date. THe report printing is not a problem. My problem lies in using the Oracle Data Control in my application. I have included it but when I try to get at the data in our DB I get a error saying the login failed due to an improper username (which is correctly entered in my ODBC setup) or password.

My question is: How do I get connected into my DB?
