Hi,
I have a problem with the database startup (Version 7.3.2) SVRMGR> connect internal
Password:
Connected to an idle instance.
SVRMGR> startup
ORA-01031: insufficient privileges
SVRMGR> I ran svrmgrl as oracle software owner (which is called ora732) and even as root - no success.
Which OS privileges are required for the oracle user and the dba group and how are they granted?

Thanks in advance for your help.
