ODBC: SELECT FOR UPDATE statement?

Hi!
I tried to execute a SQL SELECT statement to lock a particular record in Oracle database using ODBC through MFC CRecordset class. This doesn't lock the record but works otherwise normally. I tried to execute this SQL through ODBC32 Test application from Oracle and it worked fine.

Any ideas?
