Newbie qestion on Lexical Where Clause?
Using VMS/VAX os, reports 2.5
Trying to replace my where clause using a lexical, it returns an invalid column error. Has anybody experenced this problem. The columns are correct because they were cut/paste into a string that was assigned to the parameter that is being used as a lexical. In addition this parameter is assigned in the AfterParmForm Tigger. Note: in SQL this string did return rows and the report was running before we tried to use the lexical. Can the & symbol cause problems on the VAX because it is a special character? Any help will be appreciated. PLease post to news group.
Thanks
