Thin client: problems with stored procs

I am trying to execute stored proc from Java thin client using Oracle driver 7.3.4.0.0 and JDK 1.1.6
I receive following error message:
ORA-06540: PL/SQL: compilation error
ORA-06553: PLS-906: Message 906 not found; No message file for product=plsql, facility=PCM

The stored proc is OK otherwise.
Is there a known problem with the driver? The source code's been taken from Oracle samples and modified to local reqs.
