Our client is a major international firm offering software and services
that are used in the design of enterprise reporting and
decision support systems, data warehouses,
cross-platform application development and integrated application
solutions. Our client is
seeking a qualified individual to support the field
staff in their sales initiatives for the applications development and
middleware
product lines. Requires 8-10 years work experience in
any of the following: applications development, sales, pre-sales
support.
Working knowledge of at least one popular RDBMS (e.g.
ORACLE, INFORMIX) with regards to design considerations and
capabilities. Experience with at least two computer
systems (e.g. MVS & UNIX). MVS plus NT or UNIX preferred. Any exposure
to FOCUS, FOCUS for Windows, CACTUS or EDA a plus! NYC
location.
