Closing a form in Windows

Whenever the users close a form in Oracle forms using the X button on the Windows toolbar, the UNIX process linked to that form is hung. Clicking on the Exit on the menu works fine. Is there any way to remove the object properties from the close button in Windows? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
