Drop Table and Procedures

Hi all ,

I'm working on a SAP interface application in which there are a lot of DROP TABLE and CREATE TABLE scripts ( I'd better use TRUNCATE but for obscure reasons, the project leader doesn' want it !). Does it invalidate packages and procedures dependant on the dropped table ?

Although I recompile everything successfully with SQL Plus, the tool I use marks some of my packages as Invalid (even after a refresh).

What is exactly the impacts of a DROP TABLE on

Procs/triggers
Memory use and resource consumption
Views
