Dear Oracle user/developer,
Sequel Solutions is a dutch solution provider. We have developed some
interesting tools that might be interesting for you:
SQLTools 1.2.7
SQLTools is an Windows based Rapid Application Development environment
for developing, testing, debugging and optimizing Oracle
PL/SQL stored program units like stored procedures functions, packages,
database triggers and so on. It is programmed by experienced
Oracle developers to make a developers life much easier and enable
faster development.
Advantages
- Graphical database navigator to all Oracle database-objects
providing their relationship. You only have to double click the
database object in the database navigator tree-view to access the
source-code.
- Edit, compile and view errors of any program unit (packages,
procedures, functions, database triggers).
- Customizable color highlighting.
- Quickly execute and edit table-queries from the database navigator.
- Compile all invalid objects and quickly zoom in to the invalid
program units.
- Reorganizing tables is supported. Now you can easily enable
database changes, saving all relationships and user data !
- Graphical presentation of sizing information such as tablespaces,
extents, SGA.
- User friendly SQL grid allows you to select, insert, update and
delete rows in a table.
- Multiple Document Interface
System requirements
SQLTools is a 32-bit application for Windows. Therefore you must
have at least Windows 95 or Windows NT installed on your
workstation. To connect to an Oracle database, SQLTools requires
32-bit SQL*Net 2.x or Net8. No middleware needs to be installed or
configured

SQLWord 1.3.3
If you want to use data from an Oracle database in your favorite
Microsoft Word editor for your letters, mailings and reports then
Sequel Solutions has the solution:
All Oracle database users know that until this moment it was very
difficult to get Oracle data in Microsoft Word. Sequel solutions has
developed a reportgenerator which gives users a powerful tool for this
problem. You can create source documents in Microsoft Word
and then by a push on the button create output documents filled with the
data from your Oracle database.
The existing reporting-tools mostly use their own specific format and
don’t integrate at all to Microsoft Word documents.
- Developer/2000 ReportWriter is the Oracle reporting tool. It is a
powerful, but complex tool and has a long learning curve for
developers. The reports created by Oracle ReportWriter cannot be
used in Microsoft Word for further modifications.
- Mailmerge in Microsoft Word has very limited possibilities and is
difficult to use. It is not possible to create master-detail
documents.
- With programming tools as Visual Basic, Delphi etc. it is possible
to create documents filled with your Oracle data. But for this you
need experienced programmers.
When using SQLWord you can create your own standard letters,
contracts and reports using the data of a Oracle database. SQLWord
uses the Rich-Text-Format (RTF). This format is supported by all
modern editors. In a source document it is possible to define multiple
SQL-statements. By placing the fieldnames (keywords) of the queries
in the text of the document, SQLWord retrieves the necessary
Advantages
- Full use of all Microsoft Word options such as different
lettertypes, bold, underline, graphics, tables. N
- Not only Microsoft Word documents but also standard ASCII-files are
supported. SQL statements are defined in the source Word document.
The advantage is that both source and layout ared defined on one
and only one location!
- Nested structures can be used unlimited (master-detail-detail etc).
- Full use of all SQL commands such as select, update, delete,
insert, even create or drop. It is also possible to define and
execute PL/SQL blocks. In these PL/SQL blocks all standard PL/SQL
functionality can be used, so calling stored procedures, functions
and packages is no problem.
- Conditionally use of text blocks. In the scope of the condition it
is possible to use the full scale of possibilities of SQLWord and
Microsoft Word.
- The layout of the output document is completely done in Microsoft
Word. Probably you are already familiar with that!
- Microsoft Word tables are supported and can be filled with the data
retrieved from the Oracle database. This gives your documents a
professional look!
- Dynamic headers and footers are supported.
- Graphics are supported. You can use bitmaps for logos etc.
- During the creation of the output document it is possible to supply
the parameters interactively.
- Integration from Oracle*Forms using the same Oracle connection and
parameter passing can be done using the supplied Oracle*Forms
SQLWord-package.
- In the generated SQLWord logfile all executed SQL-statements are
kept for performance debugging. You can run the created script in
SQL*Plus to check your queries.
- SQLWord directly connects to Oracle using SQL*Net. No middleware
needs to be installed or configured.
- Great performance.

Prices
License prices are based on the number of users or installations and
on the number of sites. SQLWord is available from $185,- per
user. The minimal license starts at 8 users. For large sites we
offer interesting site-licences. For more information about the exact
