Thanks, thought you'd found the answer and happily ran off to the machine to try it !

However, the workstation was set to less than true colour but I reduced it to 256 incase. This still didn't work so I uninstalled the Enterprise Manager component only and reinstalled it with the video set to 256. This didn't work either.

Incidentally, all the other "managers" seem to work fine whatever the video setting.

Here's hoping there's more ideas ....
