OK, forms server need jdk1.1 which must be supported by browser. There are two possibilities to got it running in Netscape.

  1. go to http://developer.netscape.com and get netscape 4.05 that is patched with AWT1.1.5.
  2. go to http://www.javasoft.com download and install java-plug-in (former java activator). It repalace JVM from netscape and give jdk1.1 support.

However, the only supported way to run it's still the appletviewer.
