We use both in our programs. OCI is supposed to be faster. However, I have seen little difference between Embedded and OCI. Most of our people have lots more expericne using embedded than OCI. Btw we purchased an add-on library of functions that handles all the OCI stuff for us, we just call functions with parameters and it handles rest.
