Just the same problem:

I installed the original ODBC drivers from Oracle. With no errors during the installation process! When I tried the installation with the Oracle ODBC test tool, I got that two error messages:

SQLSTATE: 08003
Native Error Code: 0
Driver Message: [Oracle][ODBC Oracle Driver] Connection not open.

SQLSTATE: 01000
Native Error Code: 0
Driver Message: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Treiber gab einen ungueltigen Wert fuer SQL_DRIVER_ODBC_VER (oder keinen Wert) zurueck: %s

The last German message means exact the same as the message above.

My original configuration was:

NT 4.0 Service Pack 3

O Server 7.3.2.2.0
SQL*NET 2.3.2.1.4
ODBC 1.15.3.1.0B

So I downloaded the ODBC driver 1.16.3.1.5 from the Oracle Homepage. But it didn't change anything. Hopefully anybody can help. What is wrong?
