I the Database is running a network listener ( personal oracle is not usually set up as a 'remote' database) and the 16bit client has the proper tnsnames.ora identifiying that listener's alias, and SqlNet ( 16bit) is properly installed on the 16bit client - Yes - it will work fine.

We have ( still) Win3.1 clients accessing a variety on Oracle databases running on 32bit platforms. Received on Mon May 18 1998 - 09:22:25 CDT
