JDBC OCI uses Net8 or SQL*NET to connect to the Oracle Server. JDBC Thin implements its own version of SQL*NET to connect to the server therefore, no need to install SQL*NET on the client side. Received on Sun May 17 1998 - 00:00:00 CDT
