hi,

I tried to import a .dmp file (with the Data Manager in Oracle 7.3.2 under WinNT) that has the same structure as the current database in Oracle but got following error message:

''....object already exists" (I got this error message for every table I tried to import. I checked the mark
'overwrite existings objects' in the options screen but that didn't seem to work. Maybe I could delete
the current database (all tables) and import the .dmp file? Does anyone know what's the best way to
do this ?

thankx,

Steven
