Q: How to test new forms w/o wiping old?

We need a method for testing updated forms without overwriting the current versions. Our forms are located in a common directory for both testing and production instances. This has not been a problem til late when we've started to implement a revision monitoring system. Specific idea: For a Windows client, is there a way to set the SOFTWARE/ORACLE registry entries to point to more than one default location? Suggestions of merit will be posted after evaluation. And if we figure it out on our own, I'll post what we did! ?;D
