I doubt that there are any objective measurement information available. And even if there are any, there are to many hardware, operating system and software related issues (differences) between Unix and NT, I personally will doubt the objectivity of the results.
As I have ranted and raved many times before, choosing a hardware and operating system platform have -nothing- to do about whether or not one operating system is "faster/better" than the other.
Selecting a server platform you need to take issues like the following into
consideration:
- existing hardware in the company
You match technology with the business requirements and not let technology drive the business. Getting into debates where the basic issue is which is the best, Unix or NT, is an exercise in futility, as given a certain set requirements, NT -is- the best, and given another set of requirements, Unix -is- the best.
My 2'c worth. :-)

Billy
