Oracle Order Entry Form

Has anyone out there tried altering the standard Order Entry form in 10.7. I have as part of my job been assigned this task for a client but so far attempts to change the form have resulted in variuos problems that I will not bore anyone with.

The main feature the client wants is the ability to add a discount on the main order entry screen. Instead of clicking on the discounts button at the bottom of the screen and entering a seperate screen.

Oracle have supplied us with a document but it only details how to change the layout of the form and not the functionality.

Has anyone made any functionality changes to the form with success ????
