The Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics Department (MAP) of Bristol-Myers Squibb is looking for a SQL savvy individual to become part of its Information Systems group. The IS group supports an existing Oracle LIMS and is in the process of implementing a new Oracle LIMS. We are also interfacing a new pharmacokinetics software package to the LIMS database. This position is located in New Brunswick, NJ, USA, but also supports two other New Jersey sites, and a site within Wallingford, CT.
The selected candidate will be involved with all phases of system administration, software development and user support. They will also act as the interface between the user and the corporate IT department, insuring that departmental needs are met.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of SQL for Oracle is essential. Two years hands-on experience
required.
Knowledge of VAX VMS, UNIX (Solaris) and Omnis7 helpful.
Experience in the pharmaceutical arena (GLP) viewed as a plus.
Some experience with Windows NT.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
