You could try our ODBC driver: SCO SQL-Retriever. We offer a Security Manager which (among other things) allows you to make the ODBC link read-only and select users by SQL, table and database etc. Take a look at http://www.sco.com/vision/products/sqlretriever/ for more information and a downloadable eval.
