Does anyone have experiencing using OPS with the Sun HA Cluster?
We're coming up with a plan to provide high availability to an Oracle instance. One proposal is to put everything on OPS, but this probably will require some application rewrites, to have the connections distributed across the parallel instances. The little marketting lit on the Sun HA Cluster (which has optional Oracle and other RDBMS add-ons), however, seems to suggest that the cluster would look like a single server to the outside world. Would Oracle clients then see the cluster as a single instance of Oracle, with the cluster software automatically distributing the load between the parallel instances?
Thanks for the help.
