John,

I don't know what newsgroup you read the Oraworld post from, but
commercial advertisements are not prohibited in any of the
comp.databases.oracle.* newsgroup charters.  The article was of general
interest to people working with Oracle products, so it should be welcome
on the Oracle-related newsgroups.
