Hi Mark,

The ora_install:oracleins program is used for linking Oracle itself.

I need to link a Shareable Image on OpenVMS Alpha to the Oracle 7.1.5 OCI libraries.

I'm receiving the following error during the link:

 %LINK-F-ALPHASHRNOTBAS, AXP shareable images cannot contain based clusters
 %DCL-W-SKPDAT, image data (records not beginning with "$") ignored  

Any ideas on how to get around this error?
