Okay, I just did it -- it is rather easy. (Hopefully everything works)
As it might be from interest for other people, here comes my solution:
- Copy all the old orainst/ows21.* files to the new orainst directory
- Change orainst/unix.old and unix.rgs, you have to add the ows21 line
and might have to change some other lines (include ows21), depending
on your installation (check the old unix.rgs and unix.old files!)
- From orainst/ows21.map, generate (e.g. with sed) a script to make
the new directories (You have to make sure that they have the same
permissions as the old ones!) and copy (-pi) the files from the old to
the new location.
- Check for the old paths in the copied files (find/grep) and
substitute the new ones (sed).
- Be careful to keep the file permissions right! If not sure, do a
find ... \! -user oracle -ls on the old and new $ORACLE_HOME.
Up to now everything works as expected. ;-)
Gerhard.
