I must be missing something simple. We are running ORA WGS 7.2.2.4.9 on NT 3.51 and supporting PeopleSoft.
PeopleSoft creates a table PS.PSDBOWNER. I am defined with the DBA role. PS is a peoplesoft administration schema, and sysadm is a peoplesoft user/schema. I try to grant update on ps.psdbowner to sysadm and receive a oracle error stating insufficient privleges. Is there a way for the schema owner, PS, to lock the DBA from granting rights on a table they own? How can they do this and can this be overridden by the DBA? Thanks..
