When was the last time you ran ANALYZE on QC$TB_TEMP_DERIVED_VALUE ? If the
statistics are way off (or not there), this could explain why the optimizer
chooses that weird plan.



For what *really* is being executed - dunno. My best guess would have been
explain plan.
