TWO_TASK is used on UNIX platforms. In the PC Windows world (3.x/95/NT), variables LOCAL and/or REMOTE are used instead. For 3.x, set LOCAL/REMOTE=alias in ORACLE.INI. For 95/NT 4.0, set LOCAL/REMOTE=alias in the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE. Hope this helps.
