We have had a similar problem with OO4O and VB5. SQL*Plus works just fine, but our application got the ORA-03121.

The cause was a very well programmed Netware-login-script which deleted the PATH-variable, set in the autoexec.bat, to create a new one. Without c:\orawin95\bin.

Just open a command prompt and investigate your path-variable
