Hi,
first, it could by simple a misleading error message. Your "ls" output shows, that the directory "orainst" already exists. So the installer tool can't create it, because it already exists. Ofcourse, the error message should be different (already exists.
Second, please check the permissions of the parent directory of "orainst", i.e., "7.3.2". It should be writable for the oracle user, because the oracle user wants to create a new file/directory in this directory.
