Hi,

Has anyone tried the example programs in the manuals regarding executing OS commands from Stored Procedures? There are a couple of programs to compile; daemon.pc and daemon.sql from an example in the manual.
I managed to compile the C/C++ daemon but is unable to compile the daemon.sql (PL/SQL) program.
My error message was...

        SYS.DBMS_PIPE was not declared

Anybody know anything about this?
Appreciate any help.
Do not send me any email directly as I have just set an AUTO-REPLY for my coming vacation next week, you might get annoyed by it.

Thank You!
