Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.misc -> Problems installing Oracle 7.3.2 on Solaris 2.5.1 (SunOS 5.5.1)
I have problems installing Oracle 7.3.2 on Solaris 2.5.1 (SunOS 5.5.1). By invoking the installation-program "./orainst /c" or "./orainst /m" in the directory ./orainst a "Segmentation Fault - core dumped" is reported.
Do I need any patches for Solaris 2.5.1 to be able to install Oracle 7.3.2 with the installation-script "orainst"???
On a Solaris 2.5 (SunOS 5.5) this script works prberly.
Many Thanks
