OWS logging

OWS 3.0 logs all HTTP requests to a file xlf.log. This is done in what Oracle calls Extended Logfile Format (XLF) and contains every HTTP header the client sends. This means that it logs lots of information I don't need (and have discspace for). Do anyone know a way to specify what information to be logged?
In the help page for the Logger configuration, XLF is described as a superset of the Common Logfile Format (CLF). That format will do for me, but is it possible to activate it?
