Re: Setting date format in Personal Oracle 7

You can add a parameter to the initSID.ora file to "permanently" change the format:

nls_date_format = "dd-mon-yyyy"

I added the above line to the initorcl.ora file. To get the client software on the same page on a Win95 machine, I edit the registry to also include the parameter.
