The reason that Oracle hasn't got good documentation or good tech support is that those two things have nothing to do with their corporate aims. It's that simple. Also, Oracle's weakness (that the software requires an expert to install, configure, use, and maintain) is its strength in the sense that this is a great source of consulting income.
