I (and most of the people in consulting that I've worked with or met)
have always just used it to mean "An end user who actually can find
the enter key with both hands and a flashlight" as opposed to normal
end users who... well, you get the idea. Amazingly enough, there
never seems to be more than one super-user per application at any
company I've worked at or installed at and they usually end up going
to work for a consulting company not too long after the installation
is done. Go figure.
