I've found these problems in Express Objects (vs. 2.0.2 under Win95). Might anybody tell me if they're known bugs and if exist any ways to overcome them?
For instance take a Nation/Area/City hierarchy:
ITALY
|--NORTH | |--Milan | |--Venice |--MID |--Florence
I'd like to move 'Florence' from MID to NORTH. I use these Express command:
A1.PARENT(GEODIM 'Florence')='NORTH'
XP_DMHIERCALC GEODIM 'STANDARD'
(where GEODIM is the dimension name and A1 is given
by Express when installing the dimension)
When I call the RefreshListBox method after having modified the
hierarchy, the listbox collapse the indented hierarchies, but when I
re-open them, the dlb contains occurencies in erroneous places, in
wrong hierarchies (re-collapsing and re-opening solves
the problem, but it's not so nice...).
Do you know how to solve the problem or how to modify a hierarchy in a
different way?
And is it possible to indent the levels a bit more than default value?
(i.e. enlarge the indentation)
2. LIST BOX (lbx) -----------------------------------
As reported by anybody out there, list boxes often automagically grow... Every time I open a form some 'ghost' modify its dimensions. Any update?
--- Whenever I'll find any other bugs, I'll try to post them asap. Thanx for Yr attention and help, Gianluca Meardi Coopers & Lybrand ConsultantsReceived on Thu Jun 12 1997 - 00:00:00 CDT
