I took three classes with Oracle Education in Bethesda, MD:
1. Introduction to Oracle (very beginner class...i didn't really need it,
but if you need to understand SQL and PL/SQL, then it may be a VERY good
idea)
2. Database Administration (version 7.3) THIS CLASS IS IMPORTANT FOR
UNDERSTANDING THE STRUCTURE OF ORACLE(esp. if you have a good instructor)
3. Backup and Recovery THIS CLASS IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. It really brings
together everything you learned in DBA class and provides real life
situations to solve.
Outside of those classes, the best books that I have found are the Oracle Press books.
