passing parameters through sqlmenu-app

Hi,
I have 2 sqlmenu50 applications (using sqlforms30). The first app calls the second app whith the 'NEW_APPLICATION'-procedure. I would like to pass a parameter between the 2 apps, but it seems not to work with global variables ( although this works fine between 2 sqlforms within 1 sqlmenu app).
