Unfortunately I had already looked at all the on_line help. As a test I filled an array from a 7 field, 590 record recordset and timed it. 55 seconds! There are no long raws in the recordset. It just seems to be .MoveNext that's slow, especially as you have to use dynasets with OO4O.
