I dont know what you asked, but most of us try to reply if we have something sensible to say. I personally only reply if the subject looks relevant (to my interest and knowledge), and if I from reading the question believe I can be of any valuable help. When I doubt my knowledge (I often do), I dont reply. You are probably in a better situation with no answer than a wrong (and perhaps fatal) answer.
