SQL*NET (ODBC) temporary files on the PC

Hi,

I've written a MSVC++ 4.2b (MFC) application using the Oracle ODBC driver and SQL*Net. The problem I have is that there are large files created on the PC which I assume are used to cache the data. They are in the application directory and have a .tmp extension. These files get left around after logging out.

The questions are:

What exactly are they ?

And how can I automatically remove them on logout ?

Thanks
