Oracle has two Transparent Gateway products that let you access AS/400 data via an Oracle instance. One runs on the AS/400 ("Transparent Gateway for DB2/400") and the other runs on UNIX and NT ("Transparent Gateway for IBM DRDA"). Which you choose depends on the type of network you are using, where you have spare processing capacity, and other factors. Your Oracle rep should be able to supply details on these products. Some information is also available at http://www.oracle.com (follow the "Gateways" link).
